Who is responsible

Filipe Lopes Pires, individual promoter of the Novo Aspecto initiative, Portugal, is the controller of enquiry data. Novo Aspecto is not an incorporated company. Contact novoaspecto@ifidem.com about this notice, your personal data or accessibility.

Data and purposes

Browsing involves delivery of pages, locally hosted fonts, images and video. The hosting provider necessarily receives connection data such as IP address, requested URL, time and browser information. No visitor analytics script is included.

There is no web submission endpoint, account, checkout or newsletter form. The contact form prepares an email draft in your email application. We receive your email address, message and any signature or attachments only if you send the message. We need a reply address to respond; other details are voluntary.

Legal grounds

Responding to voluntary enquiries and evaluating the initiative rely on legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f): understanding needs and continuing the conversation you requested. Proportionate hosting security also relies on legitimate interests, subject to your rights and a documented balancing assessment. Necessary steps towards a contract would use Article 6(1)(b) where applicable, and legally required records Article 6(1)(c). An enquiry is not consent to advertising.

Recipients and international transfers

The promoter uses Cloudflare as the website host, Spaceship as the DNS provider and Proton Mail as the enquiry email provider. Cloudflare receives web connection data; DNS providers handle DNS queries, which may originate from a resolver rather than directly from a visitor. Proton handles correspondence and message metadata.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example Cloudflare in the United States. Such transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the decision for Switzerland, or on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. External links load another provider only when you follow them. Its own notice applies there. Do not send confidential information through an external example.

Retention and security

Only Filipe Lopes Pires accesses the enquiry mailbox. Inactive enquiries are deleted six months after the last exchange, through an automated cleanup. The cleanup covers Inbox, Sent, attachments, Trash, related exports and identifiable notes. Truly anonymised research findings may be retained separately. Material needed for a specific legal obligation or dispute may be retained only as necessary for that purpose.

Your rights

Email novoaspecto@ifidem.com to request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, or to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need proportionate identity verification. GDPR requests normally receive a response within one month; lawful extensions must be explained.

You can lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt), or with another competent supervisory authority, such as the one in the EU country where you live or work.
